Alloy is the only chain recommended for overhead lifting and other applications where the hightest strength to weight ratio is required. IT IS THE ONLY CHAIN APPROVED BY OSHA FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING. Hook ends are also available - see Hardware Chain Accessories.

Proof Coil is an excellent general purpose chain for applications where there is little need for a high strength to weight ratio. Straight Link Coil chain is a welded chain easily identified by its link design. The link is long and relatively narrow in proportion. It is an excellent choice for tailgates, trailer safety chain, and barrier chain. IT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING.

Straight Link Machine chain is a welded chain noted for it's flexibility. Used for overhead doors, tailgates and agricultural implements. IT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING.

Transport Chain is considered the chain of choice for load binding application. It is also well suited for tie-downs, exceeds that of Proof Coil and High Test. A modification of Straight Link Machine chain which allows the chain to lay flatter. Working load limit is slightly less than Straight Link Machine chain. IT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING.
