Piston Cups are available in various shapes and compounds. The selection should be made on the basis of pressure, temperature and the type of air or fluid in which the cup must function.  Homogeneous or Neoprene cups are made to handle low pressure (under 150 lbs./sq. in). Recommended for applications against air and petroleum based fluids. Exceptionally long lasting with high abrasions resistance.  Buna-N and Cotton Duck Fabric (F-Series) piston cups are also available.

SUPREME QUALITY - Urethane material developed with a superior strength and toughness to resist abrasion. It has high durometer and excellent flexibility, high compression and tensile strength, scrapes like bronze with the gentleness of rubber. The Q4 Series Quad Ring is made of the Buna-N compound for a wide range of sealing application.  Ideal for use with all petroleum-based hydraulics oils and water.  It performs at pressures beyond 2,000 PSI.  The four lobed cross section provides a tough seal.  The main seal is with the center lobes, with the two side lobes acting as a secondary or back-up seal.

Seals are made of Fluorinated Polymer and fortified with either glass fitber or bronze flakes used in combination with an elastomer O-Ring.  This is revolutionary concept in positive long-wearing piston seals for reciprocating hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders.  A Loader Ring forces a better seal.

The symmetrical U-cup seals equally well on both rod and piston applications and eliminates the need to select either a specialized rod or piston design. The U-cups are compression molded of liquid cast polyurethanes to eliminate the quality problems frequently encountered in injection molded U-cups and to provide higher operating temperature limits. The Loaded Center U-cup produces the best all purpose seal for use in standard hydraulic fluids. The service plug is developed to plug hoses or rigid pipes to avoid oils and chemicals from contaminating the environment and to preserve costly oils and liquids inside systems during maintenance and repair. It can also be used to protect machine channels from dust and corrosion when cleaning or painting, to prevent water, paint, dust, and pollution from harming system and components.   For use in non-pressurized and vacuum systems.  Made of high-quality oil-resistance rubber.  No tools needed!  Use your hands to insert, push, then push and twist in the same action.  The plug can be cut to adjust sizing.
