The D9 Series of motor is the largest member of the White Drive Product's family. The product is capable of producing torque values comparable to competitive motors, but with an industry leading breadth of displacements and shaft and porting options. In addition, the product incorporates dual tapered roller bearings, which improve load carrying capabilities. The motor is designed for use with a case-drain, which reduces pressure on the shaft seal and maintains lubrication to internal drive components, maximizing motor life. The series is available with industry standard mounting flanges found throughout the global market place.
Due to its case drain design, the DR Series motor is an excellent size motor for applications with high-duty cycles or frequent direction reversal. The case drain design produces a number of benefits including reduction of pressure on the shaft seal and the ability to provide a cooling loop for the system. The case flow also lubricates the vital drive components, extending motor life. An internal drain option is also available. A laminated manifold and three-zone orbiting valve are used to produce higher overall efficiencies and more usable power. A steel faced seal in the orbiting valve also reduces the risk of the seal extruding or melting, which is possible in competitive designs.
The HB Series motor is the leader in its class, offering high efficiency and durability. The three-zone orbiting valve, laminated manifold and Roller Stator® motor work harmoniously to produce high overall efficiencies over a wide range of operating conditions. The standard case drain increases shaft seal life by reducing internal pressures experienced by the seal. Case oil leakage is also directed across all driveline components, increasing motor life. An internal drain option is also available. At the heart of the motor is a heavy-duty drivelink, offering 30% more torque capacity than competitive designs. These features make the HB Series motor the preferred choice for applications requiring peak efficiency for continuous operation.
RE Series motors offer the perfect compromise between price and performance by producing work horse power at a reasonable cost. Although these motors perform well in a wide range of applications, they are especially suited for low flow, high pressure applications. During startup, pressure causes the balance plate to flex toward the rotor, vastly improving volumetric efficiency. As the motor reaches operating pressure, the balance plate relaxes, allowing the rotor to turn freely which translates into higher mechanical efficiences. Transmitting this power to the output shaft is the most durable drive link in its class. Four bearing options, combined with standard mounting flanges and output shafts, allow the motor to be configured to suit nearly any application.
RS Series mtors are the most economical model in the White Drive Products product line, but are not low-tech. Unlike competitive products using power robbing, two-piece rotor set designs with sliding contact points, RS Series motors utilize the patented Roller Stator® design. Seven precision rollers for the contact points reduce friction, providing more power and longer life for your application. Each output shaft is custom ground to maintain exact tolerances between the housing and shaft, producing high volumetric efficiencies. Industry standard mounting flanges and output shafts allow the RS Series motors to interchange with competitive designs.
The WS product family featuares flow rates up to 76 LPM (20 GPM), torque up to 824 Nm (7,925 lb-in), and pressures up to 207 bar (3000 psi) at continuous ratings. The WS targets agricultural equipment, skid steer attachments, and other applications that require greater torque under demanding conditions. A distinguishing feature of the WS in relation to competitive products is its heavy duty drive link with a larger pitch diameter. This enables the WS to to better withstand pressure and torque spikes and is reflected in its intermittent and peak performance ratings. Additional product features include a three zone commutator valve, heavy-duty tapered roller bearings, and case drain with integral internal drain.
A Wire Rope Clip is used to clamp the loose end of wire rope after it has been looped back to form an eye. These wire rope fittings consist of a u-bolt and has a saddle that is secured by two nuts. Wire rope assemblies generally need at least 2 or 3 wire rope clips to properly secure the wire rope ends to the length of the rope.
When the wire rope terminations create the eye, there is a risk that the eye will bend too much, especially with a heavy load. Adding a wire rope thimble (sold in this section) to the eye can help lengthen the service life of the rope by adding a layer of protection to the rope.
Choosing the correct type of wire rope is also important when using a wire rope clip. Saftey Note: wire rope clips should not be used on plastic-coated cable, unless the plastic is first stripped off. Install wire rope clips over bare cable only. Nuts on wire rope clips should be re-tightened/re-torqued regularly.
Wire Rope Thimbles are used in wire rope assemblies to keep an eye from being crushed. When a wire rope assembly is terminated with an eye or loop at the end, a cable thimble is inserted to form the eye of the loop before the rope is secured. Steel thimbles, or stainless steel thimbles in high corrosive enviroments, offer added protection from wear and tear of direct contact and deformation of the eye. By adding this protection, it lenghtens the service life of your wire rope or wire rope slings. Breaking strength is typically not denoted on steel rope thimbles as the pressure on the thimble eye can very depending on tension and direction the pressure comes from.
Features:
Alloy is the only chain recommended for overhead lifting and other applications where the hightest strength to weight ratio is required. IT IS THE ONLY CHAIN APPROVED BY OSHA FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING. Hook ends are also available - see Hardware Chain Accessories.
High Test. Easier handling without sacrificing desired safe working load limits. IT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING. Hook ends are also available - see Hardware Chain Accessories.
Proof Coil is an excellent general purpose chain for applications where there is little need for a high strength to weight ratio. It can be found in tow chains, logging chains and in binding applications. IT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING. Hook ends are also available - see Hardware Chain Accessories.
Straight Link Coil chain is a welded chain easily identified by its link design. The link is long and relatively narrow in proportion. It is an excellent choice for tailgates, trailer safety chain, and barrier chain. IT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING.
Straight Link Machine chain is a welded chain noted for it's flexibility. Used for overhead doors, tailgates and agricultural implements. IT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING.
Transport Chain is considered the chain of choice for load binding application. It is also well suited for tie-downs, exceeds that of Proof Coil and High Test. Transport Chain P-70 meets Department of Transportation regulations. IT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING. Hook ends are also available - see Hardware Chain Accessories.
A modification of Straight Link Machine chain which allows the chain to lay flatter. Working load limit is slightly less than Straight Link Machine chain. IT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING.
